More animal than mineral, Hayden Stone is a writer of queer kissing boo. His romcom AN UNEXPECTED KIND OF LOVE (Entangled), is a queer twist on the film Notting Hill, and WHEN LONDON SNOW FALLS (Entangled), when a queer barista meets an indie rocker in his cafe, is available June 2022. Previously, he has been a PitchWars mentee and has a literary agent for his upmarket / literary fiction. He currently lives in Victoria, Canada, and has also lived in Vancouver, Canada and London, UK. He knows which is the business end of a trowel, the horror of the wrong kind of leaves on the track delaying trains, and a bit about ancient ruins. Hayden likes strong coffee and is owned by two cats.
Hayden has been mentored through a PitchWars. He’s published books with Entangled Publishing, has Canadian federal and provincial writing grants, and agent representation (under a separate name),
“I want to help others on their journey into publishing, like how others helped me along the way. I hope my experiences with querying agents and publishers, and working with a publisher can help other queer writers with their work.”
