Emily Joy Howard (she/her)

Emily lives in Oakland, CA where she teaches grades four, five, and six by day, and once her personal children are finally asleep, writes by night (or real early in the morning or on lunch breaks or whathaveyou.) The saving graces of her writing career have been her PitchWars mentor, rockstar CPs, and two brilliant agents, so she is pretty stoked to pay some mentorship forward.

Emily brings experience with pitch contests, querying, and being on sub during a pandemic. She is repped by Rebecca Eskildsen at Writers House.

Emily will be co-mentoring with Emily Zipps.
